All Road Bores are getting fusion pipe that helps prevent leaks. Here is the process of fusing the pipe together. The metal plate that heats the pipe has to be heated to 400-415 degrees before being placed between the two pieces of pipe. The operator is only allotted a 10 degree temperature difference or the pipe will not fuse properly. Before moving the pipe off the machine it has to be cooled to 100 degrees and completely cooled before being placed underground.

Furnishing and installation of approximately 32,090 LF of 14 inch DR18 PVC, approximately 26,813 LF of 12 inch DR18 PVC piping, along with accompanying appurtenances, water services, PRV vault, directional drilling, site work and erosion control near 304th Street between 457th Avenue and 468th Avenue. Also including under 1 mile of 4 inch DR18 PVC piping near 461st Avenue between 304th Street and 303rd St.

Highway 46
Due to the State of South Dakota Department of Transportation leveling Highway 46 the CRWS pipeline needs to be moved out of the right of way into private property to continuing serving the 9 customers living east of Beresford on the highway.
